HistoryRembrance has been established since 1984, and was set up as a small home business by Rosemary Curtis. Rosemary, who holds city and guilds qualifications in fashion and design and dressmaking, retired from work and concentrated on the business in later years, and managed to set up a strong client base. In the more recent years her daughter, Janice, went into partnership with Rosemary, and 'modernised' the way it was run. With this, the business and client base grew and grew until it was no longer viable to run it from their home. Janice and Rosemary went on to rent a retail premesis, which happened to be along the same street. Since then, the business has continued to grow, and Rembrance now deals with clients from all over hertfordshire, including many schools and colleges.
